Lysergol, also known as 9,10-Didehydro-6-methylergoline-8β-methanol, is an ergot alkaloid, closely related to lysergic acid. It has been isolated naturally from species of ergot fungus. It also occurs naturally in Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds (Argyreia nervosa).
This compound is available as the D isomer (as opposed to the isomers L, iso-D or iso-L). It is NOT for human consumption and is available strictly for research purposes only. Available as the L-hemitartrate salt.
