Tryptamines. 5-MeO-aMT, alpha,O-dimethylserotonin.
5-MeO-aMT, aka 5-methoxy-alpha-methyltryptamine or alpha,O-dimethylserotonin, is a novel tryptamine discovered by Alexander Shulgin. It is the 5-methoxy analog of aMT, and is related closely to the endogenous neurotransmitter serotonin. It is NOT intended for human consumption, and is strictly for laboratory reagent or forensic analysis purposes ONLY. This chemical is available only as the fumarate salt.
