3,4-methylenedioxyphenethylamine, also known as MDPEA or homopiperonylamine, is a phytoalkaloid and substituted phenethylamine. It occurs naturally in many species of cacti, such as peyote (Lophophora williamsii), San Pedro cactus (Echinopsis pachanoi), and Peruvian Torch cactus (Echinopsis peruviana). It is chemically very similar to the structure of MDA, and also other phenethylamines, such as mescaline, and DMPEA.

We offer this product as a new nootropic, or as an alternative to Phenethylamine, which is a popularly-used supplement. This product is phenethylamine substituted with a methylenedioxy ring, which may offer mood-bosting, brain-enhancing effects in larger doses. It may offer synergistic properties or an “entourage effect” when combined with other substances. It is also a natural alkaloid, which is found to occur in many different plants.

Like Phenethylamine, it is rapidly metabolized by monoamine oxidase (MAO-A/MAO-B) enzymes, however with the usage of a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) it may have enhanced properties or effects.

This compound is NOT for human consumption and is available for research purposes ONLY. Available as the hydrochloride salt.
