2-nitroisomyristicin, also known as 1-(3,4-methylenedioxy-5-methoxy)phenyl-2-nitropropene, is a synthetic derivative of myristicin. It can be synthesized starting from 5-methoxypiperonal and nitropropane in the presence of a base catalyst. It is structurally similar to phenyl-2-nitropropene (CAS 705-60-2). There is no known information on its pharmacology.
